EDM Machinist to join a highly regarded engineering business based in
Longford, Republic of Ireland.
As a EDM Machinist, you will be required to work on the Electro
Discharge Machines, programming, setting and operating.
The daily duties of a EDM Machinist include:
Setting and operating machines
Programming using offline CAD/CAM skills
Following standard operating procedures
Performing self -inspection using hand tools
Following all H&S procedures as required
The Profile of a successful EDM Machinist:
Experience with EDM Machines, setting and operating
Programming offline desirable (Edgecam)
Self-inspection skills using handheld tools
Strong attention to detail
Experience with CNC / Manual workshop machinery would be beneficial

A busy sub-contract machine shop
